One of the biggest frustrations of people I have helped coach is how they really struggle with lead generation and being able to sponsor new people into their business. Their upline usually are still practicing out of date methods that quite frankly are not effective leaving most distributors feeling like failures and usually end up quitting. Following are a few network marketing recruiting tips that will help you understand how the top 1% of income earners build their network marketing business.

Tip # 1 – Lose your current lead generation method

Let’s face it, if your current lead generation practices work, you wouldn’t be reading this article on network marketing recruiting tips. You’d be busy making a boat load of money. Quite clearly, whatever you are doing right now to attract people to your opportunity isn’t working. In order to increase your sign-up rate you need to evaluate your marketing and make the necessary changes.

Tip # 2 – Focus on automation

Automated systems are the only way successful people are raking in the dollars. Unless you have a system that generates leads for you on autopilot, without your input, you will end up working long hours and eventually get burned out.

All the successful people you hear about are most likely using some sort of automated system that does what it needs to do to make them money while they are out playing golf, cruise the world on their yacht or travel from city to city to enjoy the best there is in every corner on this planet.

Whatever tickles your fancy, you must find an automated system to find true success online.

Tip # 3 – It’s not about you – it’s about them!

Forget about you, your dreams and your needs. Think about “what’s in it for them” because this is exactly what your leads think right now. Unless they feel you can offer them more than they give you will always chase the elusive downline.

Learn what makes your leads tick, what motivates them to excel and what has them disappear from your vision faster than you can say “stop,” and you will have the secret to marketing at you disposal.

Tip # 4 – Do not fake it until you make it!

Contrary to what you have been told, faking it  doesn’t cut it. If you play the fake it until you make it game, people will eventually find you out and call your bluff. Have the mindset that you are already a successful leader but without faking what you don’t have. Don’t pretend to be something you are not and always be transparent.

Be yourself, be approachable and be honest. Remember, the person you are trying to recruit has the same fears, dreams and questions you had when you first joined your business opportunity. This last tip is perhaps the most important of the network marketing recruiting tips you could ever learn
